Wonderful & Lucky Night

April 24, 2008 56th Annual Wabash Telephone Cooperative, Inc. meeting. It was fun and lots of foods and drinks the good thing is FREE and a plus the entertainment and my oldest daughter won $10 Wal-mart GC for the children's raffle. But sorry to say we didn't win from the Adults raffle but for me being there and enjoying everything is already makes me a winner that is really one of the thing that I always look forward every year to attend the annual meeting because they always treats their customers with high appreciation and feeds us. Anyway, that's one of the things that my family loves to do and also my youngest daughter had her chickenpox immunization I was happy that she was okey and happy as it could be because I knew some kids won't feel good after when they got their shots but not my little girl I am proud of her because she is tough and strong enough to fight with it. She cried a little when the nurse pokes the needle on her right leg and I feel pity on her too makes me wanna do it and pass onto it to her I wish that's possible enough to do it but she has to do it and take it for her own benefit. She's lucky to be immunized while as young as she is because in my case I didn't had to go through with it since my family was so poor. So, indeed my children will still blessed!

We brought some take home Chicken, Beef burger and cold soda for our neighbors since they weren't there so we decided to bring home foods for them eventhough people might think we are such a pig I just can't help laughing about it. hahahahahahahahahaha.

Another thing is, I sent my N-400 application for my citizenship last April 11, 2008 it was Saturday I let my husband bring it to the post office since it has to be a certified mail due to my eagerness to sent it out I forgot to include the documents they needed I only put the papers that I filled-up and the fee and close the envelope so I was disappointed about it that I wish I did not rushed things. Well, I guess it turns out okey because I got a letter from them about the schedule for my fingerprinting this coming May 5, 2008, CINCO DE MAYO! Hooray! What a big relief????? that they did not rejected and sent back my application instead they accepted it and tells me that they will let me know what to bring during my interview hopefully it will be soon enough because I am really excited to get this things done. Sometimes makes me sick more paperworks, paperworks and I will be glad and my husband that we will be get over with INS paperworks...hahahahahahahaha...that's a good thought isn't it????

Anyway, gotta go to bed now it's late...I need to park right now...Until next time..More updates! Enjoy!

It's a Tale of Two Moms this Mother's Day--the second edition! This time, read Tricia's suggestions for Mother's Day gifts:

May is like a second Christmas for me because it's my birthday, Mother's Day, and almost my wedding anniversary. So you can be sure that I have been surfing for gift ideas! Here are some of my top suggestions this year based on past experience as well as new trends:

Mrs. Prindables -- If you haven't seen my video blog about Mrs. Prindables, you have no idea what you are missing. Caramel, chocolate, nuts...and a healthy green apple buried somewhere in there. Choose from a single special apple to a variety package. If you are lucky, mom might even share with you (but don't count on it!).

Sephora -- I'm a Sephora girl. A gift card is perfect for anyone, but if you know a little bit about what mom likes, you can get more specific. The Best of Sephora package is a great value ($96 worth of products for $65) and has a nice variety of items that are universal favorites at Sephora. You also can't go wrong with a set of Philosophy Shampoo, Shower Gel, and Bubble Bath. A sassy mom would appreciate the Cocktail Party set (Margarita, Mimosa, and Daiquiri). A more traditional mom might like the Just Because set (Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, and Dark Chocolate).

1-800-FLORALS -- I'm a sucker for flowers. I know that not every mom is. But when they drive up with that big bouquet with my name on it, I can't help but get excited. I love that 1-800-FLORALS uses local companies to deliver my flowers. Every mom deserves flowers at least once on Mother's Day. Go traditional with roses or get creative with a bright spring assortment.

PajamaGram -- One of my favorite gifts ever came from PajamaGram. And it wasn't just the pajamas themselves (although they have been washing up nicely for over a year). It was how special the whole gift came packaged--a big reusable box, a door sign, and a scented sachet. With a wide selection of gown, shorts, and pants, you'll find something for every mom. And don't forget the robe!

Time -- Ah, the gift of time. No, I'm not talking about a Sunshine Rewards merchant. I'm talking about the seconds, minutes, hours on Mother's Day where you create a memory for years to come. Whether mom needs an afternoon with the family or a few hours to herself to curl up with a good book, don't forget that time is the most precious of gifts this Mother's Day.
